8 Random Things about Vaspers
I got tagged, by Spacey Gracey, who I met on PBS MediaShift blog, for
the 8 Random Things meme game.
Here are 8 spurious facts about Vaspers that you probably did not
know.
(1) I worked for American Banker, in the World Trade Center, first
floor, when I lived in NYC.
(2) I was raised atheist, military, conservative...then went off in
opposite directions when 15 years old. I think I'm still a registered
member of the War Resistors League.
(3) I stood up against a gang in NYC and frightened the leader as they
surrounded me. This was one of several times when enemies tried to
kill me, and I always escaped, obviously.
(4) When one parent refused to believe my frightened reports of being
sadistically abused in a freaky mental manner by the other parent
("I'm not your [parent], [parent's name] is not here, I'm here now!"
i.e., like demonic possession), at 5 years old, I began my career of
seething hostility to authority, government, and domination systems.
(5) My dad was a CIA operative.
(6) My great great grandfather was Colonel Abel Streight, in the Union
Army during Civil War.
(7) I met Andy Warhol in NYC at an INXS gold record award party, and
gave him a cassette tape recording of my art rock band Camouflage
Danse. Later, at his table, I flirted with Hollywood actress Kelly
McCullough, who was angry at her boyfriend.
(8) I was mute one day, as a little kid, maybe 8 years old, and again,
