mp3 Mash-up: Lisa Stansfield vs. The Love Bite - People Take Your Time
Your Time
My first mash-up (first MP3 that I'm willing to share, anyway)
features an old house classic (Lisa Stansfield - People Hold On)
mashed with a more recent house classic (The Love Bite - Take Your
Time). If I could do it again, I'd take down the Stansfield vocal a
tad (but I'm too lazy). Otherwise, I hope you find it pretty
enjoyable.
Edit: Deep-linking works for me but apparently not for others. Sorry.
Here's the link to my artist page.

mp3 Google, please clean up Blogspot
The sh*t has hit the fan and raised the ire of prominent Internet
figures Chris Pirillo of Lockergnome and Mark Cuban of Blog Maverick.
Google: Kill Blogspot Already!!!
Get Your Blogspot Sh*t Together Google
The blogosphere was hit by a blogspot.com splogbomb. Someone did
the inevitable and wrote a script that created blog after blog and
post after post.
I'm not talking 100 blogs with a 100 posts each. Im talking what
could easily turn into 10s of THOUSANDS of blogs pinging out
millions of posts !
While this directly impacts prominent sites with high Google PageRank
that were specifically targeted, it affects all Blogspot users since
it cripples traffic, ruins the reputation of the service, and
decreases the relevancy of blog search results. What this means for
Blogspot users is that Blogspot will probably implement a word
verification or e-mail verification system for all posts.

mp3 Pot good for your brain?, Fatboy Slim and David Byrne: Imelda Marcos
(The Musical)
Hehe, this looks like a must-buy for iPod-toting mommies.
Other random stuff:
* News for stoners: Dubious neurologic benefits of pot
As enthusiastic as Dr. Zhang is about the potential health
benefits, he warns against running out for a toke in a bid to beef
up brain power or calm nerves.
The team injected laboratory rats with a synthetic substance called
HU-210, which is similar, but 100 times as potent as THC
(delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol), the compound responsible for giving
marijuana users a high.
This begs the question of how much HU-210 the researchers took
themselves. I hope the peer reviewers read the article carefully.
* WTF music news: Fatboy Slim and David Byrne collaborate on Imelda
