Singer Ibrahim Ferrer dead at age 78

I don't know much about Cuban music except what I've heard from the

excellent Buena Vista Social Club soundtrack. Even so, I know that

Ferrer - Como El Arrulo de Palma. If this tune doesn't get you

thinking sunny Carribean thoughts, you are working too hard!

I remember I used to think that I was invincible, and I placed TV

personalities in that same category of invicibility. This naive notion

has been eroded away and/or shattered with time.
